About
It all started when…
I trained as a costume designer originally, but as I approached my 30s, it began to feel less me. Whilst working for a children’s mental health charity I found my vocation as a therapist.
I began to train in 2012 and achieved a PG Certificate in Interpersonal & Counselling Skills from Leeds Beckett University. From there I completed a BACP Accredited PG Diploma in Counselling & Psychotherapy, also from Leeds Beckett, graduating in 2015.
I was taken on by my placement Aire, Wharf & Craven Counselling (formerly Aire Valley Counselling), where I have worked ever since, with clients aged 18-75, presenting with a wide variety of difficulties. I feel very fortunate to have such a fulfilling job, working with a wonderful group of clients.
In early 2019 I launched my private practice, with offices in Silsden and Keighley and I look forward to welcoming you there.
